Stevia, often called the “sweet leaf,” is a natural sweetener derived from its cut and sifted leaves. It is many times sweeter than sugar and has a slight licorice-like aftertaste. Commonly used as a sugar substitute, Stevia offers a calorie-free, plant-based alternative for sweetening foods and beverages.

Sage is an evergreen shrub within the mint family, accounting for refreshing notes in the herb's aroma and flavor. The leaves are oval-shaped and tapered, with a slightly fuzzy look and feel, reminiscent of soft velvet.

Mints have square stems and opposite aromatic leaves. Many can spread vegetatively by stolons and can be aggressive in gardens. The small flowers are usually pale purple, pink, or white in colour and are arranged in clusters, either forming whorls or crowded together in a terminal spike.

Senna is the fruit (pod) or leaf of the plant Senna alexandrina. It is approved in the US as a laxative for short-term treatment of constipation. Senna contains many chemicals called sennosides. Sennosides irritate the lining of the bowel, which causes a laxative effect.

Eucalyptus leaves are long, slender, and oval-shaped, tapering gracefully to a point. Their surface is leathery and waxy, displaying shades of grey to bluish-green. Known for their refreshing aroma and medicinal value, eucalyptus leaves are widely used in remedies, essential oils, and for their soothing, antibacterial properties.
